Misalignment Spacer Set, High, 3/4" to 5/8", 1-3/4"

This is for a PAIR of 3/4" to 5/8" high misalignment spacers that fit a 1-3/4" bracket with a 5/8" hole.  These are made from stainless steel and conform to tight tolerances so they fit snugly into a heim joint and will stand the test of time.  Often times, after the heim joint wears out, these are swapped over to the new heim joint.  On a typical heim joint the overall width of the unit (heim joint with misalignment spacers installed) is 1-3/4".  This item allows the heim joint to achieve a higher angle than with a standard spacer.  We also offer these high misalignment spacers as part of kits that include heim joints in our "Heim Joints" section under "Spherical Rod Ends, Tube Inserts, and Tubing".

Not all misalignment spacers are made the same!  There's not only the variance in material type (stainless steel, steel with zinc coating, etc), but also slight differences in tolerance that make a big difference.  We've seen the variance in tolerances lead to failure on the trail.  The key tolerance that we've seen lead to failure is the depth into the heim joint (where the meet or don't meet in the middle).  If this tolerance isn't tight, or held closely during manufacturing, the result is the shoulder breaking off the misalignment or the shoulder sticking out not allowing the misalignment to do it's job.  Don't be fooled by lesser imitations, make sure you're getting the units that will do the job without failure!
