Dana 44, Spindle Seal and Bearing Kit

Dana 44 spindle rebuild kit.  This kit includes one spindle bearing, one plastic spacer, and two wiper seals.  See images for exploded view and the numbers 47, 48, 49, and 50 circled. 

If you do river crossings, you'll want our heavy duty version part number DAN706527X-HD.  The standard version is 100% for road splash from tires and rain. 

If you go through water deeper than the spindle hole, the hydraulic pressure will blow through the standard "v" seal and bellows seal.  The HD version use a lipped seal with metal spring, and PRESSES into the back of the spindle.  Ok, well, most people use a block of wood and a hammer bc it's just a seal, but it's a good seal that you have to drive in!

Use the search bar in the upper left corner to find out more about the HD version (cut and paste "DAN706527X-HD"), or search "DAN36364" if you need the slinger.  NOTE:  The HD seal kit does NOT require a slinger, nor can a slinger be used.  The standard spindle seal kit bellows seal slides over the slinger (#48 on the exploded view), but it's a steel disc that can be reused.  However, if you go with the HD spindle seal kit, the slinger and the bellows seal are integrated, and the HD bellows seal kit slides over the stub shaft WITHOUT the steel slinger.
